My name is Jennifer Wittum and I have been teaching at big hollow for 14 years. I enjoy teaching social studies and often do impersonations of historical figures to make the lesson more interesting for my students. I find history absolutely fascinating and try and pass that along to my students.. additionally, i have coached many sports here at big hollow and was a student council advisor for many years. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Matt and I have been married for 14 years and have 2 amazing sons, Braden, 9, and Ben, 6. I grew up on a small farm and am still very involved with 4-H and agriculture in mcHenry county. I volunteer as a 4-H leader, overall livestock superintendent, and beef superintendent among many other things. When i have a few minutes to spare, I enjoy camping, four wheeling, playing with my kids, sports, and crafting. I am looking forward to teaching my students not only social studies but a few life lessons and skills they can continue to use throughout their journey. I am certain this will be another fantastic year at big hollow!
